I love micro-stepping!

I'm a big fan of micro-stepping!⁠

By this I mean working 5 mins every day (or whichever length of time you can easily fit in your day) towards a long-term goal, one micro-step at a time.⁠

It works very well for me, for my personal goals and my business.

For example, I had been meaning to learn Spanish for a while but could not fit the lessons into my busy week, so I started practicing 5 mins every day on #duolingo.

Ok, I am not fluent yet but after several years of that regime I can now understand quite a lot and I am topping this up with some relaxing time in front of Netflix series in original Spanish language for a double win!⁠

In my business there are some activities that are better batched and executed in one go, like content development, but others like building connections on LinkedIn or other social media platforms are best implemented daily with consistency.

What could you start implementing in small daily doses today that would take you slowly towards one of your big personal or business goals?⁠

What will it be?

  • Learning a new skill?

  • Slowly decluttering the house?

  • Studying towards new qualifications?

  • Keeping on top of your book-keeping?

You can do anything you want, the world is your oyster!
