How my journey began.
Hi, I’m Christelle!
A passionate coach, mentor and marketeer helping you build a thriving business or career, and create balanced and fulfilling lives.
From research labs to rock bottom, and back again: My journey to purpose and thriving.
Born and raised in France, I landed in London for my PhD years, only to find myself navigating a career maze.
Starting in academia as a biomedical scientist, I then swapped lab coats for suits and a career in business communications. I climbed the ladder, ran a start-up, raised Venture Capital, even managed 15 employees – but happiness remained elusive.
Despite the "success," I was chronically unhappy, caught in a whirlwind of long hours, stress, and juggling young children.
Then, life hit the brakes and my carefully built world crumbled: divorce, job loss, debt, grief, two burnouts, depression – I hit rock bottom.
For four years, I scrambled to rebuild, haunted by financial anxieties and the relentless pace of single parenthood. Therapy offered a lifeline, but it was coaching that truly unlocked my potential.
Fast forward ten years, the picture is much brighter. With my three beautiful kids (one grown up, one in uni and one in secondary school) and my feline duo (Moshi & Bilou , frequent Zoom guests!), I'm thriving. I'm a Mental Health First Aider, and I finally embraced my true calling - coaching - after training as a Certified Transformational Coach.
My portfolio career blends coaching and marketing/communications, supporting professionals, executives, small businesses and start-ups.
Why am I sharing all this?
Sharing my story isn't just about my past; it's about preventing others from walking the same path. I want professionals and business owners to thrive, not just survive.
As an ambivert and a highly sensitive person (HSP) – someone with a sensitive nervous system who is deeply affected by the subtleties in their environment – kindness, authenticity, and integrity are my cornerstones. I yearn for a life and business that resonate with my values, where collaboration with like-minded individuals fuels my passion.
I'm building my tribe, one client, one supplier, one collaborator at a time.
