Self-awareness.

My journey with self development started about 15 years ago when I attended a course to become more assertive at work (back then I was struggling with boundaries and saying no, but that’s for another post).⁠

Since then my self awareness has grown from strength to strength and on most days I am ‘present’ enough to notice when life teaches me a new lesson.⁠

This only happens though when I am in tune with my feelings and emotions - glad to say that the auto-pilot is on less and less these days, but it can creep back in if I let it and I am not careful.⁠

How do you increase your self awareness?

How do you make sure the auto pilot is switched off long enough to allow for self reflection and deep thinking?

How can you carve more ‘me time’ in your life for this to happen’?
