"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Are you clear on who you are, on how you want to show up in your life, as a partner, a parent, a son/daughter, a sibling, or a friend?

What about in your work life? Are you clear on who you are as an employee, an employer, as an entrepreneur or a business owner?

For years, I assumed the ‘mask’ I thought I needed to wear in the corporate world. It transpired into the way I dressed, the things I said (or did not dare to say), the way I behaved with my colleagues or clients, my managers...

…until it was becoming unbearable to have a different persona at home and at work.

Working with a coach I began to gain the confidence to speak my truth, to behave authentically in full alignment with my beliefs and my values, even to share my mental health issues.

And then I realised that it was ok.

The world did not collapse, on the contrary.

People started to comment that working with me was like a breeze of fresh air. A colleague of mine even stated that “[I was] probably the most authentic person they know”. What a huge compliment!

I have now set up a Coaching & Communications practice on my terms, truly aligned with my values and I can show up at work in the same way as in my personal life, authentically, kindly and with integrity.

If you need help working out who you are and what you stand for in your life or your business, or if like the ‘old me’ you feel a dissonance between the way you show up at work and in the rest of your life, get in touch and we can work on this together.
