Tip 6 - Change your mindset.
Last week, we saw that learning to worry less could positively impact our stress levels, but another way to address our stress is to change the way we think about it.
This week in the “Rise and Grow in Uncertain Times’ series we think of ways to help change our mindset.

Tip 6 – Change your mindset
Everyone is going to experience setbacks or obstacles in their life journey: how you explain them to yourself will determine what they mean and how they make you feel.
Optimism is a common attribute of resilient individuals. Some studies have even found that when participants learned to view their stress response (for example, sweaty palms, racing heart) as helpful for their performance, they were less stressed out, less anxious, and more confident.
Over the next few days:
• Think about 3 things that give you hope for the future
• Make a list of 3 things that you are looking forward to
• Complete 1 task that you’ve put off for a while and pat yourself on the back once it’s done
• Reflect on what you have achieved this week and identify 3 things that have gone well
What else can you do this week to choose optimism?
